As the Founder and CEO of Fletcher Cove Capital, Mike Riis helps investors build wealth through strategic multifamily investments and smart tax strategies. Over the past three years, he has successfully raised nearly $50 million, guiding clients to maximize returns while minimizing risk through innovative investment structures, including 1031 exchange opportunities and other tax-efficient solutions.

Before founding Fletcher Cove Capital, Mike honed his expertise in the real estate sector at Marsh McLennan Insurance Agency, where he worked in the Real Estate Practice Group, helping investors protect their assets through tailored property and casualty insurance solutions. This experience gives him a unique perspective on risk management and asset protection—critical components of successful real estate investing.

Mike’s expertise spans multifamily real estate and portfolio optimization, combining market insight with hands-on experience to identify high-potential opportunities for investors seeking long-term growth.

A competitive and strategic thinker, Mike’s drive was evident early on when he won a division 1 lacrosse national championship at the University of Denver—a mindset he continues to bring to every investment decision.

In his free time, Mike coaches 5th and 6th-grade lacrosse for GWB locally in San Diego.

With a career spanning nearly three decades, Tommy has established himself as a leader in real estate investments and fiduciary services. Previously, he served as a partner and director at a national multifamily and single-family development firm, overseeing capital markets and investor relations. He also served as Chairman of a debt fund focused on land development and construction. Tommy is also the CEO of Investors 1031 Exchange and has executed over $1 billion in real estate investments. He has been featured on ESPN Radio, KCBQ San Diego, and The American Dream television show. Earlier in his career, Tommy owned and operated an independent escrow company in Southern California, which was recognized as one of San Diego’s fastest growing small businesses.
